28 January 2015. Geneva, Switserland. The World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the UN System Standing Committee on Nutrition (UNSCN) and the Global Health Programme of the Graduate Institute, held an event on the Global Nutrition Report 2014, whose global launch took place during the 2nd International Conference of Nutrition (ICN2) in Rome last November.
This side-event to the 136th session of the WHO Executive Board consisted of:
- Keynote presentation on the Global Nutrition Report by Prof. Lawrence Haddad (Senior Research Fellow, IFPRI)
- Panel discussion with nutrition stakeholders moderated by Prof. Ilona Kickbusch (Director of the Global Health Programme at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva)
- Presentation of the WHO policy briefs and the nutrition target tracking tool by Dr. Francesco Branca (Director of Nutrition for Health and Development, WHO and UNSCN Executive Secretary)
