This event will be directly related to the early findings of the EC High Level Expert Group, under the chairmanship of Tom Arnold. Furthermore, the event is being convened as a part of the UN Food Systems Summit Independent Dialogues. The EC High Level Expert Group is composed of 19 top experts from across the world, who are mapping existing SPI, identifying the gaps, assessing needs to be further debated during the Summit process, with the aim to develop viable options and recommendations to be delivered in May 2022.
